Job Overview:
An urgent recruitment opportunity is available in Riyadh for experienced Intumescent and Fire-Rated Paint Technicians / Applicators. The position is intended for skilled professionals who have practical experience applying fire-protection coating systems in construction, industrial, or related projects.
Successful candidates should be confident in surface preparation, coating application, equipment operation, dry film thickness checks, and site safety procedures. Experience working with intumescent and fire-rated protective coatings will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply intumescent and fire-rated coatings in accordance with approved project specifications.
Prepare steel and other surfaces properly before coating application.
Use spray equipment and other application tools safely and effectively.
Follow manufacturer instructions, approved application methods, and project procedures.
Monitor coating thickness and identify application defects or quality issues.
Maintain application equipment and keep the work area organized.
Comply with site safety rules, PPE requirements, and fire-protection procedures.
Work closely with supervisors and other site personnel to meet project deadlines.
Report material shortages, technical concerns, defects, or other application problems promptly.
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience as an Intumescent Paint Technician, Fire-Rated Paint Applicator, Fireproofing Applicator, or in a similar role.
Relevant certification or demonstrated professional competency.
Hands-on experience with intumescent and fire-rated coating systems.
Good knowledge of surface preparation and protective coating application.
Ability to operate relevant spray and coating equipment.
Understanding of construction or industrial site safety requirements.
Ability to work efficiently while maintaining required quality standards.
Candidates with experience on major fireproofing or protective coating projects will be preferred.
