Job Summary:
The Unit Operator will oversee the operation of power generation systems, ensuring equipment runs safely, efficiently, and without interruption. The role involves monitoring plant performance, carrying out routine operational checks, identifying potential issues, and working closely with maintenance teams to maintain reliable electricity production while following all safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and operate power plant equipment to maintain continuous production.
Conduct routine inspections to verify the proper functioning of plant systems.
Record operational readings and report faults or unusual conditions promptly.
Follow company safety policies and environmental regulations at all times.
Assist in diagnosing operational problems and support corrective actions.
Coordinate with maintenance personnel during equipment servicing and shutdown activities.
Help maintain efficient, reliable, and uninterrupted plant operations.
Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience in power plant or utility operations is preferred.
Good understanding of power generation equipment and plant operating procedures.
Ability to read and follow technical manuals, operating instructions, and safety guidelines.
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
A safety-focused attitude with attention to operational excellence.
A relevant technical diploma, certification, or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
Salary and Benefits:
Monthly Salary: AED 5,000
