A leading and reputed organization in the GCC is urgently seeking a Senior Project Engineer – Food Service Equipment (FSE) & Maintenance to manage and execute large-scale commercial kitchen and hospitality projects in Bahrain.

This role is ideal for experienced engineering professionals who have a strong background in commercial kitchen systems, project execution, and site management, and are looking to grow within a dynamic and technically challenging environment.

🧭 Role Summary:

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will take full ownership of project planning, execution, coordination, and delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring that all phases of the project—from design and procurement to installation and final handover—are completed efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards.

You will act as the key technical and coordination link between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.

🛠️ Detailed Responsibilities:

🔹 Project Planning & Execution
• Lead complete lifecycle of projects from concept to commissioning
• Develop detailed project execution plans, timelines, and milestones
• Ensure smooth coordination between all stakeholders

🔹 Design & Engineering
• Prepare and review AutoCAD drawings, layouts, and equipment positioning
• Develop accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and technical submittals
• Ensure all designs meet client specifications and authority standards

🔹 Coordination & Communication
• Liaise with consultants, architects, MEP teams, and clients
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors
• Conduct regular project meetings and progress reviews

🔹 Site Supervision & Installation
• Supervise on-site installation of commercial kitchen equipment
• Monitor work progress, quality standards, and safety compliance
• Resolve technical issues and ensure minimal delays

🔹 Project Control & Monitoring
• Track project budgets, costs, and resource utilization
• Ensure adherence to project schedules and deadlines
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions

🔹 Compliance & Quality Assurance
• Ensure compliance with local health, fire safety, and municipality regulations
• Conduct site inspections, QA/QC checks, and snag list management

🔹 Testing, Commissioning & Handover
• Oversee testing and commissioning of equipment
• Prepare handover documentation, reports, and client approvals
• Ensure successful and smooth project closure

🔹 Tendering & Procurement Support
• Provide technical support during bidding, estimation, and procurement
• Evaluate supplier quotations and technical compliance

🔹 Team Leadership
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers, supervisors, and technicians
• Ensure team productivity, discipline, and performance standards

🎓 Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience in FSE / commercial kitchen projects
• Strong expertise in AutoCAD, BOQ preparation, and technical documentation
• Proven experience in end-to-end project execution
• Mandatory GCC experience (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, etc.)
• Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills
• Experience with international brands such as:

👉 Hobart | Rational | Electrolux (Highly Preferred)
• PMP Certification (or equivalent) will be an added advantage
• Experience in hospitality, hotels, restaurants, hospitals, and central kitchens
