Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Felixstowe

Working pattern: Permanent, full time

Shift pattern: Sunday 8am to 2pm and Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm

About the role

Uniserve is looking for two Warehouse Supervisors to lead warehouse staff and daily operations. You will make sure planned activities are carried out safely and efficiently, customer requirements are met and operational targets are achieved.

You will give real-time feedback, keep accurate records and help maintain a positive, productive workplace, while upholding company standards and food safety regulations.

What you’ll be doing

• Supervising warehouse staff and work activities

• Making sure employees understand their daily roles and receive clear instructions

• Understanding and carrying out the day plan, including resource allocation and customer requirements

• Reporting progress, delays and problems to the Shift Manager

• Maintaining a safe, secure and healthy working environment

• Keeping accurate records

• Providing reports and activity updates to Shift Managers

• Delivering excellent customer service

What you’ll bring

• Warehouse supervisory experience

• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS)

• Knowledge of inventory control and stock management

• Familiarity with material handling equipment (MHE) and safe operating procedures

• Clear, concise verbal communication

• The ability to give effective feedback and instructions
