About this opportunity
Due to exceptional growth, we are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operator to join the logistics team at our depot in Edmonton.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in FMCG warehouse environments, who are looking build a solid career within a fast-paced operational setting. Full training will be provided.
Working shifts: Monday to Friday
- PM Shift: 16:00 – 01:00
- Day/Early Shift: 10:00 – 19:00
Responsibilities
- To support goods in process in terms of unloading arriving trailers when required.
- Assist the Stock and Inventory Manager to control inbound/outbound products.
- Pick orders and build pallets to be despatched to our customers.
- Put away returned stock to the correct racking location.
- Check outbound orders to ensure pick accuracy.
- Ensure pick aisle are consistently replenished in line with pick requirements.
- Assisting with warehouse optimisation.
Requirements
- Current counterbalance forklift licence.
- Powered pallet truck operations experience.
- Possess a willingness to learn including flexi forklift training.
- Have a strong work ethic demonstrated in a warehouse environment.
- Willing to take responsibility and support colleagues.
- An organised individual with the ability to work on own initiative if required.
- Clear communication skills with the ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-moving environment.
- Physically able to work in a warehouse orientated environment with experience of safe manual handling.
