About Us:

Thames Valley Buses is a leading operator in the transport sector, dedicated to delivering exceptional service and operational efficiency across our network. Our depot and workshop facility in Bracknell serves as the beating heart of our local operations. We pride ourselves on the quality of our fleet, and our engineering team plays a vital role in ensuring our modern buses are safe, reliable, and ready for service every single day.

Overview:

We are looking for self-motivated, technically minded individuals with a passion for the fast-paced and dynamic bus industry. As a PSV Technician, you will be a key member of our Engineering team, responsible for the high-standard maintenance of our fleet. This role is ideal for an experienced mechanic who thrives in a workshop environment and is committed to keeping our buses running smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Duties:

  • Preventative & Reactive Maintenance: Conduct thorough inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on our fleet to ensure full roadworthiness and compliance with local transport regulations.
  • Defect Rectification: Proactively attend to daily driver-reported defects. You will be expected to diagnose issues quickly and apply effective, lasting repairs to minimize vehicle downtime.

Benefits:

  • Competitive Pay: Base rate of £25.00 per hour.
