Job Description

AC Technician

As a Carpenter, you will perform a variety of carpentry maintenance tasks to install, repair, and maintain the property’s wooden structures, furniture, fittings, and fixtures. You will play a key role in ensuring that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities are maintained to the highest standards of safety, functionality, and appearance.

What you will be doing:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on furniture, doors, windows, cabinets, fixtures, and other wooden structures.
• Repair and replace damaged woodwork, fittings, and furnishings.
• Install, assemble, and modify carpentry items as required.
• Conduct routine inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with hotel standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Support other engineering team members when required.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and guest concerns.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Should have proven track record in similar job role for at least 2 years for 5 Star Resort in UAE
• Resort experience is preferred.
• Should have technical education background and related diplomas
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize work in a busy work schedule.
• Should be a team player
