Job Description

Purpose

The purpose of this position is to supervise and organize the activities in inbound area of physical logistics to ensure timely collection of material from business partners, goods receipt and storage of raw material.

• Logistics Management

Organize and notify collection of raw materials through external milk run from suppliers, receive and store raw materials from suppliers

Optimizing external milk run routes to reduce CO2 emissions

• Store Management

Ensure storage of all direct materials as per standards (safe and secure storage), report and act on blocked stocks

Leadtime optimization for intermediate operations.

• People Management

Supervise logistics operations compliant with internal procedures and work instructions, central directives for operations

Employee satisfaction index

• Escalation Management

Escalate physical logistics (inbound) and material delivery topics to leadership team (ss per escalation matrix) to seek appropriate management intervention delivery of materials

On time intervention and resolution of escalated topics

• Compliance Management

Manage commercial processes to be legally compliant with internal guidelines Viz: OMP (Bosch India) central directives and external laws namely foreign trade customs and taxation laws

Adhering to standards and no deviations in Audits

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelors degree in engineering (mechanical or industrial production) or Commerce

Experience

• 3+ years work experience in inbound logistics area and stores management

Additional Information

Knowledge

• Advanced knowledge in SAP – warehouse, material management and sales distribution modules
• Competent in IT tools like InTrack, EMR , CELONIS , RBIN gate pass & Power BI reports
• Competent in compliance, safety topics, CL management & insurance claims
• Advanced knowledge on lean (Pull principle)

Functional Skills

• Competent skills for warehouse & transportation management, warehouse productivity
• Competent communication skills (English & local language)
• Advanced conflict management skills
