About this opportunity

Logistics Administrator / Warehouse Administrator

Rochdale, OL12

Monday to Thursday: 9:00am – 5:00pm | Friday: 9:00am – 2:30pm

Know your way around a warehouse but prefer being the one keeping everything organised?

If you’ve spent years working in warehousing, understand how goods move from order to dispatch, and have experience using warehouse management systems, this could be right up your street!

10 Recruitment are looking for a Logistics Administrator / Warehouse Administrator to support the smooth running of a busy warehouse operation in Rochdale.

This isn’t just about sitting behind a desk processing paperwork. You’ll be right at the heart of the warehouse operation, coordinating workloads, organising couriers and making sure orders are picked, checked and ready for dispatch.

What will you be doing?

  • Preparing and coordinating daily workloads for the warehouse team.
  • Creating picking lists and passing them to the warehouse for processing.
  • Booking couriers and coordinating outgoing deliveries.
  • Working with SAP TMS and barcode scanning systems to manage order processing.
  • Checking completed picking lists and scanned orders to ensure accuracy before dispatch.
  • Liaising with the warehouse team to keep orders moving efficiently.
  • Supporting with loading, unloading and general yard maintenance where appropriate, if you hold an FLT licence.

Who are we looking for?

We’re particularly interested in speaking with people who have hands-on warehouse experience combined with warehouse or logistics administration skills.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • A good understanding of warehouse operations, picking processes and dispatch procedures.
  • Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar stock and order processing software.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Confidence coordinating workloads and communicating with warehouse teams.
  • A practical, hands-on approach and a willingness to get involved.

An FLT licence would be a real bonus!

If you hold a valid forklift licence and are happy to occasionally help with loading, unloading or keeping the yard organised, that’s certainly advantageous. However, an FLT licence is not essential, so don’t let that stop you applying.

Why could this role suit you?

Perhaps you’ve spent much of your career working on the warehouse floor before moving into stock control, warehouse administration or logistics coordination.

You know how a warehouse works, understand the importance of getting orders right first time, and enjoy being the person who keeps everything ticking along.

If that sounds familiar, we’d love to hear from you!
