Job Description
We’re looking for a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team at our St. Louis location on Manchester Road. In this role, you’ll be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages and goods to customers throughout the St. Louis area. You’ll be the face of our organization, ensuring every delivery is completed on time and with exceptional customer service. - Operate a delivery vehicle safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Plan and execute optimal delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet daily delivery targets
- Load, unload, and transport packages and goods while maintaining proper handling procedures
- Provide professional and courteous customer service during each delivery interaction
- Obtain customer signatures and maintain accurate delivery documentation and records
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or safety concerns to management promptly
- Navigate using GPS and mapping systems to locate delivery addresses accurately
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status, delays, or customer issues
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and cargo area
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle class being operated
- Proven commercial or delivery driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road safety regulations, and defensive driving techniques
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Customer service orientation with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Physical capability to lift, carry, and load packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
- Proficiency with GPS and navigation systems
- Reliability and punctuality with a strong attendance record
- Preferred: Experience with multi-stop delivery routes or logistics operations
- Preferred: Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
