About this opportunity
3 Point Recruitment are exclusively hiring a Commercial Accountant / Business Partner for a market leading manufacturing business who have their Head Office ideally situated in Coventry.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Qualified Accountant to take ownership of the finance function within a growing operational business. This role combines financial control, reporting and commercial partnering, offering real autonomy and visibility across the organisation. You’ll work closely with operational, sales and service teams to strengthen margins, improve processes and support key commercial decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce monthly management accounts and maintain strong financial controls
- Manage general ledger accuracy, reconciliations, journals, accruals and prepayments
- Oversee fixed-asset accounting, cash flow monitoring and forecasting
- Deliver margin analysis across customers, products, projects and service lines
- Partner with non-finance teams to improve profitability and support decision making
- Review pricing, project performance and tenders with clear financial modelling
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and scenario planning
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax and regulatory requirements
- Support continuous improvement across systems, reporting and financial processes
- Provide insightful commentary and challenge assumptions to drive performance
About You
You’ll be a qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) with strong commercial awareness and confidence partnering across the business. You’ll bring solid management accounting experience, strong analytical skills and the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders. Experience within industrial, manufacturing, engineering or service led environments would be advantageous with our clients ideally wanting a strong team player with a positive mindset and the ability to build effective relationships across the business.
What’s on Offer
- £50,000 – £58,000 salary (potentially negotiable based on experience)
