Job Overview:

The Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing offshore electrical maintenance activities, ensuring operational reliability, equipment safety, and compliance with company standards. The selected candidate will supervise technical teams, coordinate preventive maintenance activities, troubleshoot electrical issues, and support shutdown operations within offshore facilities.

This position requires strong technical expertise in transformers, switchgears, power distribution systems, and electrical safety procedures in Oil & Gas environments.

Responsibilities:

Supervise electrical maintenance operations in offshore facilities

Ensure safe maintenance and operation of electrical equipment and systems

Manage transformers and switchgears up to 33kV

Implement and monitor switching and LOTO procedures

Coordinate troubleshooting and fault diagnosis activities

Support preventive and corrective maintenance programs

Supervise maintenance teams and contractors on-site

Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company operational standards

Assist during plant shutdowns and emergency maintenance situations

Maintain maintenance records and technical reports

Requirements:

Higher Secondary School education

3–5 year Diploma / HNC / HND in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution

Minimum 10 years of maintenance experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries

At least 5 years of experience as an Electrical Supervisor or Electrical Engineer

Strong knowledge of transformers and switchgears up to 33kV

Experience with switching and LOTO procedures up to 6.6kV

Excellent troubleshooting and maintenance coordination skills

Ability to supervise teams effectively in offshore environments

Strong understanding of industrial electrical safety standards
